The Faculty of Dentistry RCSI has developed a dedicated CPD record management system, known as ‘My CPD’ app. This system provides a comprehensive platform for dentists to record and retain documentation relating to yearly CPD activities.

The ‘My CPD’ record management app is available to all good standing standing RCSI Fellows, Members, Diplomates and Faculty Affiliates. The mobile version of the app is available to download via the Apple and Google stores. Desktop access is also available.

To log into the app, members should use the same username and password they normally use for accessing the Faculty's membership portal.

Become an Affiliate of the Faculty of Dentistry RCSI to access 'My CPD’ record management app.

Log into 'My CPD’ app (available to download via the Apple and Google stores) using the same username and password you normally use for accessing the Faculty's membership portal.

Navigate to CPD Records > Add Record

Complete the required on screen fields and submit the record.

If you have a supporting document (e.g. CPD certificate), on the next screen you will have the opportunity to upload the file. Please choose the ‘select file’ option to upload the document.

Within this screen you can view a summary of the number of CPD hours you have recorded for the year. Select the 'View Details' option to expand the breakdown.

Suggested targets for annual CPD hours are displayed within the app, however they are for recommendation purposes only. In Ireland, dentists should follow the CPD guidelines as set out by the Dental Council of Ireland. Please refer to the relevant body responsible for CPD in your respective country for clarification on yearly CPD requirements.

Within this screen you can view a list of all CPD records you have added. Select the 'View Details' option to expand any individual record.

‘My CPD’ is integrated with official Faculty of Dentistry RCSI held events. Therefore if you have registered for and attended* one of our events, you can automatically add the CPD record to your profile. Select 'CPD Approved Events' from the main menu and you will be presented with a list of approved events you have attended.

*Verified attendance is confirmed by presenting a QR code on-site to verify your attendance. The QR code is provided within your event registration email.

Users can add CPD records instantly when viewing any of our online learning videos via the Faculty's learning hub. After watching any of our learning videos, please complete the feedback form to request your CPD. After submitting the form, the record is automatically added to your profile within ‘My CPD’ app.
