RCSI conferred 600 healthcare professionals with postgraduate awards at a virtual conferring ceremony on Wednesday, 8 December 2021.
The Faculty of Dentistry is hugely proud to have conferred 338 new Fellows, Members or Diplomates.
The Faculty of Dentistry awards included 157 Diplomas in Primary Care Dentistry, 175 Memberships of the Faculty of Dentistry and 6 Fellowships of the Faculty of Dentistry (FFDRCSI) Ad Eundem.
The prestigious FFD RCSI Ad Eundems were awarded to Dr Amanda Willis, Dr Feras Hasan Abed Al Jawad, Dr Graham Quilligan, Dr Kate Coyle, Prof Anthony Roberts and Prof Chris Louca.
Commenting on the conferrings, Professor Albert Leung, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry RCSI said "As Dean, I was delighted to be able to confer 338 colleagues from around the globe. Many of our new Fellows, Members and Diplomates have had to overcome challenges this year to keep the progress of their career in dentistry on track. Their successes are to be congratulated and we really appreciate that they wish to be associated with RCSI".
