Now available to sit online from the comfort of your home or location of choice, the MFD RCSI Part 2 examination consists of one 90 minute assessment with 15 OSCE / Clinical Scenario based questions where you will enter your responses online.
Candidates with MJDF Part 1 can apply directly into MFD Part 2. While the Faculty of Dentistry normally expects candidates to have completed MJDF Part 1 within the previous 5 years, we will allow considerations on a case by case basis for a limited period.
Similarly candidates in possession of MFD/MFDS Part 1 or possession of the Diploma of Primary Care Dentistry [DipPCDRCSI] can apply directly into MFD Part 2.
Those who successfully pass MFD Part 2 will be awarded the prestigious internationally renowned Membership of the Faculty of Dentistry qualification from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.
Historically offered as face to face examinations, the Faculty of Dentistry RCSI's General Dental Examinations (Diploma of Primary Care Dentistry, MFD and MGDS) are now all available in online formats.
