Faculty of Dentistry of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (FoDRCSI) Scholarship
Purpose of the award
- The Scholarship is intended to support good standing FoDRCSI Fellows, Members and Diplomats in pursuance of clinical & academic progression in dentistry.
- The award can be granted in a number of formats as determined appropriate by Faculty of Dentistry RCSI.
Aims of the award
- To encourage, promote and support further development, research, training, carried out by Fellows, Members and Diplomats of the Faculty of Dentistry RCSI in Ireland, EU and worldwide.
- To inspire engagement and participation in the Annual Scientific Meeting of FoDRCSI by Fellows, Members and Diplomats of the Faculty worldwide.
- To part-fund the appointment of a Fulbright Scholar.
- To assist with expenses incurred including accommodation, travel and subsistence wholly related to attendance at:
- Scientific/Professional, Meetings/Conferences (Local/Overseas)
- Enrolment in recognised training programmes (Local /Overseas)
or
- To support Trainees in FOD RCSI overseas training programmes
Eligibility
- Must be a Fellow, Member or a Diplomat of FoDRCSI (for a minimum of 12 months and be in good standing).
